Career Chats
Volunteer at Digital Ready
Our STEM training is enhanced when outside professionals engage with our youth. We incorporate opportunities for our youth to learn from industry professionals directly through Career Chats and Critics.
As a part of our programming, we host a series called "Career Chats," where professionals from various fields share their career journeys, insights, and advice with our students.
These sessions are designed to inspire students about potential career paths and highlight the skills required to succeed in different industries and communities.
The Career Chat sessions are typically 30 minute long presentations with time for questions, and we ask that you join us in person to make the experience more engaging for our students.

Critics
Our students complete 3 hands-on projects during their semester at Digital Ready. After each project is completed, our youth present their projects to the class, with a final project showcase at the end of the semester.
Although presenting to their peers and teachers helps our students develop their skills, getting feedback from external partners has been the most meaningful. That is why we want to invite as many industry professionals as we can to come in and speak to our youth about the work they have done.
